Not only is cheese already delicious on its own but let me up the ante here and say that my melted, slightly sweet, and incredibly flavoured brie will make your Holiday charcuterie board reach a whole new level! I will honestly tell you this is the best baked brie I’ve ever had– the herbs, the crunch of walnuts (pecans would be equally amazing), a splash or more of Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Select, and some walnuts and dark brown sugar to bring out the sweetness…incredible. Keep an eye on my Instagram page @luxebaker for a video reel of how this all comes together!
Preheat oven to 350F convection. Cut top rind of cheese off. Place brie into oven-safe bakeware or wrap tightly in parchment and then aluminum foil before baking. Pour 2 tbsp Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Select onto the brie. Add chopped walnuts, honey, chopped rosemary and thyme, a pinch of kosher salt and sprinkle dark brown sugar on surface. Bake for 20 minutes or until melted and bubbling. Serve immediately with crusty bread or crackers.
